Headaches
Depending on the cause there are various reasons why you could be getting them and therefore there are a number of treatments to treat them with.

The gymnasium has recently been refurbished to a high standard and all areas are air-conditioned and membership gains you access to the hotels 2 outside pools offering beautiful views of Playa La Arena Beach and La Gomera.
Male & Female Changing rooms are available with lockers on request.
A full one-on-one induction program and health check is also given to all new members. And current classes include Spin, Step, Yoga and Aerobics.
All the kit is NEW and state-of-the-art and caters for the novice to dedicated athletes, women, men and families are more than welcome!

Membership cards are provided and must be shown and scanned on arrival of every visit. No card means no entry. Any cards lost must be raplaced at the cost of 10€.
Gym Entry
T-Shirt or Vest must be worn at all times. Trainiing shoes must be worn, no admittance will be allowed for people wearing flip-flops or any other un-suitable training shoes. You must provide your own sweat towel, clean down the equipment you use and replace weights back into their original position. No under 16's allowed without adult supervison.
Lockers
Lockers are provided and a key will be swapped for your membership card. No personal items may be left at the gym overnight or for long periods.
Pools
To use the pools you must bring your own beach towel.

If you would like our experts to help you to select the most appropriate treatment plan for you, please call to arrange your free 10min therapy and lifestyle consultation appointment at the spa or we are happy to advise over the phone.
On the day
To get the most out of your experience with us please arrive 10mins prior to your appointment to check in and relax. If you are late for your appointment, your treatment time may have to be reduced in consideration of our next guest.
We suggest you wear comfortable clothing. Please do not wear anything delicate as the oils used could damage them.
We recommend that you refrain from eating heavy meals within one hour prior to receiving a treatment and avoid alcohol.
Please drink a good amount of water pre-treatment and try to limit tea, coffee and cigarettes.
Please wear underpants for treatments to protect your modesty. Underpants are available to hire on request.
Pre-treatment
Take a deep breath, exhale and leave all your worries outside the door. This way, you will truly feel all healing benefits from your treatment. We are here to look after you!
We are a mobile free zone - On entering the spa please switch off to ensure relaxation for all our guests.
It is helpful to communicate with your therapist before your treatment begins particularly any health concerns.
There is no pressure to talk during your treatment. Being quiet can enhance your relaxation during the treatment and our therapists understand and respect this.
However, if you have any questions or would like to talk, certainly do so, we will let you be our guide.
Post-treatment
We also recommend that you drink plenty of water following a treatment, to help flush out released toxins.
Following some of the treatments, you may have a healing reaction and may feel tired or even a little emotional. This is perfectly normal and you are welcome to use our chill-out lounge until you feel ready to face the world.
You may experience a little soreness the day after a firm massage, particularly if this is your first massage or you do not have this treatment often. Dont be alarmed if some slight bruising occurs. Bruising may be normal for some individuals.
If you are concerned about anything following your treatment then please dont hesitate to call us and we will be happy to assist & advise where possible.

Booking & Payment
At the time of booking, please advise your receptionist of any serious health condition, recent injuries (medication/other specialist medical treatments) or stages of pregnancy as some treatments may be unsuitable for you.
We require a 50% deposit payment to secure your appointments on booking by Debit or Credit Card or by cash if you pop into the spa. (American Express or cheques are not accepted).
Please give the full details of any vouchers you are wishing to redeem (please check expiry date) on booking and bring with you at time of treatment.
If you cancel or change your appointment with less than 24 hours notice you will loose your deposit This also applies if gift vouchers are the method of payment.
No payment will be refunded if you fail to attend or choose to cancel an appointment without 24 hours notice.
However; If you reschedule your appointment within 2 weeks of the original booking; as a gesture of goodwill we would be happy to retain 50% of your payment on your account for you to use on your next treatment.
If you make an appointment but cancel the appointment the same day of booking a 10% booking fee of the total cost will be charged and retained, the other 90% will be refunded on the original method of payment.
Any reason you wish to dispute this policy would need to be put in writing and addressed to the manager for consideration and validation. Receptionists do not have the authority to overrule.

Modesty policy
Underwear is required to cover lower parts when having treatments to protect your modesty and the therapist. Clients will not be treated without underwear. We are happy to provide disposable knickers.

Hi there, I am the co-owner of Origin day spa and I look after the day-to-day operations of the spa, marketing and branding. I have over 18 years experience in a customer focused role working in hotels, fashion and the spa industry.
In the past I have been responsibe for setting up various new business's and the last one was a Spa in Manchester in which I worked for 5 years. I really enjoy my job here and it was an amazing opprtunity and a dream of mine to be able to set up my own spa in the sunny Tenerife.
I have strong values and enjoy looking after the clients and my team, as I truly believe any good business has a very good team behind it. I have had great pleasure working with a number of people all of whom I am truly thankful. And my current team are amazaing at giving great customer service and enjoying what they do best, - giving great treatments!
I would like to think we give our clients 100% satisfaction all of the time, but i do realise on occasion that we do get it wrong or we could have handled something better , but I have also come to realise that over the years you can't please everyone.
One thing we do do well is listen to our clients constantly and if we can improve on something then we make it our upmost priority to deliver it.
